Halo: Finish the Friendship

A quick one to get me back in da zone! I actually thought this one up entirely in the shower. Why do I come up with the best ideas when I'm about to sleep or nowhere near a pen? I started it last night and colored 'er this mornin. Hope enough people like ponies and Halo to make it awesome!

Yaknow what's super awesome about being nerdy? I needed damn near NO reference material to draw this jank! I feel so special. At last, those middle school years obsessing over drawing Halo stuff have paid off for something!

Cortana's sign originally said "Teeg Dougland" but the reference was too obscure and it distracted from the pacing, so I replaced it with something that wasn't funny.

UPDATE: Someone on Ponibooru brought up a point that I hadn't even thought of. The year is 2553. The UNSC has the most advanced military technology humanity can muster... And yet they still hookup their monitors with VGA. XD I guess they live über-retro.

Oh, and Johnson disagrees because OBVIOUSLY [your favorite pony here] is best pony. What was John thinking?
